Akwa Ibom State Internal Revenue Service has received the
the backing of the House of Assembly to intensify its tax drive to
achieve the 52 billion Naira revenue target for the 2020 fiscal year.

The federal government has placed travel restrictions on entry
into the country from thirteen countries over coronavirus
outbreak.

The House of Representatives has passed a resolution to
mandate all Direct-To-House Service Providers in the country to
charge Nigerians based on a Pay as You Go tariff other than the
fixed monthly subscription plan currently in place.

The Federal Government says it will soon recruit ten thousand
Police officers into the workforce.
